One of the iconic trails of the Bay Area is the
Skyline to the Sea trail. It starts at the intersection of Highway 9 and Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35). Over the course of close to 30 miles, the trail winds through the gigantic redwood trees of Big Basin, along creeks and ends at the windy Waddell Beach. We camped at Waterman Gap and at Jay Camp (in Big Basin).
